Jim Elios is president of Elios Financial Group and local branch manager and Registered Principal of LPL Financial, the largest independent Broker-dealer in the nation*. As an independent financial advisor, Jim specializes in comprehensive financial planning, retirement, and investment planning.

He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and finance. He obtained his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 1991 from Baldwin Wallace College. He has been in the financial services business for 20 years, including retail banking with National City Bank, Cleveland and as financial planner with Lincoln Financial Advisors. He has also traveled extensively throughout the State of Ohio, consulting with financial institutions on developing effective investment and service strategies for retail clients as a wholesaler for a financial services company located in St. Paul, MN.

Jim is a frequent public speaker on financial planning issues, providing workshops for companies, government, non-profits and charity organizations including the Social Security Administration, Lincoln Electric, AT&T, and Fairview Hospital/Cleveland Clinic. He is also a columnist for the Plain Dealer “Ask the Expert.” Feature column. Jim has made many local Cleveland media appearances including television on Action Channel 19 News and radio on The Lannigan Show 105.7 WMJI. Jim resides in Avon Lake with his wife, Solveig and their 3 children.

Ann Escandon Operations Manager

Ann is a graduate of the University of Toledo (1990) with a Bachelors of Business Administration, majoring in Finance. She began her career in Financial Services as Marketing Director at School Employees Credit Union for 10 years. Ann has also worked in other capacities gaining experience in life insurance and self-directed IRAs, with her most recent position servicing high net worth clients at Dawson Wealth Management.

At the beginning of her career (1991-1995) she was licensed both in Securities and Life/Annuity/Health Insurance. During her time at School Employee Credit Union, she was working toward achieving the Certified Credit Union Executive designation and she won several awards for her Marketing programs and materials. Ann was raised in Amherst, Ohio and now resides in Avon with her husband and two children.
